cryptic thoughts

They lost their smiles
the clouds are gray and blue
it's been quite a while
and somewhat of a silver hue
will they ever be found?
the stars are crying
a chop suey mind
dropping their tears
these are confusing times
into a pomegranite sea
if you read between the lines
the trees are sighing
you may find
they are just as confused as i
the rhythm and rhyme
the flowers smile
are disguised
their cheerfulness a lie
blending all together
time is leaping
you must learn to decipher
away from me
the word of God to man
I must hurry
unless you want to pay the piper
to claim the Key.
